On Monday 16 November between 10am and 4pm, the Academy Library will once again be hosting “An introduction to critical appraisal, study bias and statistics for clinicians” with Michelle Madden (previously an Associate Tutor at Edge Hill University) who is very experienced at delivering this training in an understandable and approachable way. She emphasises that this is an introduction to critical appraisal and study bias for beginners, which includes some elements of interpreting basic statistics, but it is not a statistics study day. This proved a very popular course when we ran it last year, so as there are only 20 places be sure to book yours as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Lunch will be provided as will tea and coffee throughout the day. For more information Click Here.
